We began Capella Cleaning in 2019 when we decided to upgrade our cleaning business after five years of hard work and experience in the industry.

It All Started With Just Two People

Hi! I’m Katerina and I began Capella Cleaning in 2019 when I decided to upgrade my solo cleaning business after five years of hard work and experience in the industry.

As a former journalist, I have expert attention to detail and dedication to perfection and I wanted to use my skill set to take my business to the next level. Together with my husband Rob, I expanded my vision and mission to provide high-quality, full-service cleaning and we founded Capella Cleaning to become the premier provider for all of you in the Virginia Beach area!

My amazing husband Rob is a retired military Lieutenant colonel who brings discipline, honesty, and a strong work ethic to our company. We are proud to be a military family-owned and operated cleaning company!

It was important to Rob and me that our company name to reflect who we are, which is why we chose Capella. The word Capella means a seemingly very bright single star, but it is actually two stars that shine brighter together. This describes us perfectly! We feel that our strengths complement one another and as a team, we have provided superior deep cleaning to hundreds of houses throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk.

With 2 dogs that shed, a toddler that hides food, and a semi-pack-rat husband... I needed major help around my house.
