We began Capella Cleaning in 2019 when we decided to upgrade our cleaning business after five years of hard work and experience in the industry.

What’s the difference between a move-in/move-out cleaning and a regular cleaning?

Move-in/move-out cleanings include a few extras to make sure a home is ready for the next resident. The extras included in the move-in/move-out cleaning include:

  • Baseboards
  • Inside windows
  • Window sills
  • Ceiling fans
  • Oven
  • Fridge

What’s the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?

Deep cleaning includes everything a standard cleaning does but with more detail work including:

  • Wiped ceiling fans
  • Wiped baseboards
  • wiped vents
  • wiped electrical outlets
  • wiped light Switches

Can I cancel my appointment if I change my mind?

There are never contracts or obligations when working with Capella Cleaning. You can cancel an appointment at any time. The only thing we ask is if you have to reschedule for any reason, let us know at least 48 hours in advance. There is a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations that occur 48 hours before the arrival time of the appointment.

Do I need to be home for my cleaning?

No, as long as we have a way to get into the home you don’t have to be present for the cleaning. Whether it be a gate code or key under the matt, we’ll be able to get in, clean and get out while you’re at work or out shopping!

What time will Capella Cleaning team arrive?

We clean Monday through Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Your cleaner or team will arrive 5 minutes earlier than the start time.

How many people will clean my home?

Due to Coronavirus, we do not send teams for safety reasons. So you are expected to see a single cleaner in your house.  We use teams for move-in/out cleanings only.

Will I always have the same cleaner or team?

We will always send the same cleaner unless specifically instructed otherwise. We know it’s important to build rapport with your cleaning person. So we do our best to keep you with the same person as long as you’re working with Capella Cleaning.

In cases where your regular cleaner is out sick or unavailable, we will call or email and inform you a new person will be arriving.

Do you provide window cleaning service?

Yes, Capella Cleaning provides a window cleaning service for an additional price. We clean the interior and exterior of windows and glass sliding doors.

What do not you clean?

Capella Cleaning cleans most  areas of your house but there are some tasks we do not do:

  • Laundry and ironing
  • Inside curio
  • Clean and polish silverware and brass
  • We do not make the top bed in a bunk bed

I have pets. What should I do?

Please pick up after your pets before your cleaning.  If your pets are aggressive or if visitors make them nervous, please secure them prior to our arrival. We love pets but please, make sure your animals are out of harm’s way or locked up if necessary.

What if I am not happy with cleaning?

Call us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will re-clean the area free of charge.

What if something is broken or damaged during a cleaning?

We do our best to handle your valuables with care.  However, accidents do happen.  Should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, we will alert you.  We will also make every effort to repair the item or replace it if necessary.  Insurance claims will be filed when appropriate.

Is there discount for recurring service?

Yes we offer discounts on weekly,  biweekly and monthly services: weekly-15%   Biweekly- 10%, monthly-5%

How long does cleaning take?

The time needed for a home cleaning can vary based on many factors. These include the condition and size of the home, extras included, and the size of the team we send.
